The Detour

(2200-B Market St // Castro)

A similar idea to Brooklyn's Barcade, the idea is simple: Bar + Arcade = A nighttime of fun! It's kind of like Dave & Buster's, except ~cooler~. If Chuck E Cheese's was your jam back when –you should check this place out.

The Willows

(1582 Folsom St // SoMa)

This neighborhood favorite boasts a craft beer room, a full bar room, and a game room with a pool table and board games galore. Order their fried mac 'n' cheese balls and get ready to yell Yahtzee. And you can't lose with their infamous "Drunk & Happy Meal" - burger, fries, PBR, a shot of Jameson, plus A TOY(!), all for just 18 bucks.

Emporium

(616 Divisadero St // NoPa)

Emporium is, among other things, absolutely massive. Located inside a refurbished old theater, the space features tons of arcade games, pool, air hockey, pinball, and a full bar. Extra points for the tokens that really seal the deal on the old-school feel.

Urban Putt

(1096 S Van Ness // The Mission)

Drinks + Mini Golf = The best idea for the kid in all of us! Heck, it's totally an adult thing too. This spot serves up drinks as you tackle the 14-hole course. It's notably the first and only indoor mini-golf spot in the City.

Doc's Clock

(2417 Mission St // The Mission)

A longtime Mission District establishment, Doc's Clock has pinball, shuffleboard, and an arcade table for your gaming enjoyment. They also have some of the best bartenders in the city, but that's for a different list.

SPIN

(690 Folsom St // SoMa - Temporarily Closed, Opening in September)

Head on over to this colorful ping-pong place owned by Susan Sarandon to enjoy upscale American comfort food and drinks while you get your game on at one of their many tables as the DJ spins tunes.

Milk Bar

(1848 Haight St // Haight-Ashbury)

This dive is a Haight favorite for many, and on top of their selection of board games, they host a wide array of comedy events. Kill the weekday blues and fuel that competitive spirit with some friends and well-priced drinks.

The Little Shamrock

(807 Lincoln Way // Inner Sunset)

This Irish-themed dive in the Sunset is home to tons of fun cocktails and quite a few backgammon tables. But if that game's not your jive, there's also a ton more board games spread out among the armchairs and a darts station in the back. Crack open a Guinness or your equivalent and enjoy!

Outer Orbit

(3215 Mission Street // Bernal Heights)

Nostalgia meets the modern age at this hidden gem in Bernal Heights. With pinball machines for all skill levels, 12 beers on tap, and bites inspired by the Hawaiian islands, you'll discover that pinball paradise is not too far away.

Golden Gate Tap Room

(449 Powell St // Union Square)

Whether you need a spot to watch the Niners game or catch up with friends over a drink and carne asada fries after work, this is THE spot. Two floors packed with pool, skeeball, shuffleboard, and vintage arcade machines offer plenty of fun for everyone. Loser buys the next round!

Soda Popinski's

(1548 California St // Nob Hill)

At Soda Popinski's, your drink order can become a game of Russian Roulette. For a small fee, you can spin the wheel labeled with various beverages and try your luck. They also have a sweet video game room you can park your butt in while you level up in Super Mario Bros!
